Title: Deputy Sheriff
Personal: Born in Columbia, MO and raised on a ranch in the Burke, SD area. Chuck has two older sisters. He currently resides in Brookings. Chuck enjoys working out, watching movies and outdoor activities including fishing, hiking and golf.
Background: Graduated from Burke High School in 1996. Attended SDSU in Brookings, majoring in Sociology with a Criminal Justice minor, graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in 2005 and started working at the Brookings County Sheriff's Office. Chuck was hired as a part-time Correctional Officer in September of 2005, promoted to full-time Correctional Officer in October, promoted again to Deputy Sheriff in February of 2006.
Special Duties: PBT calibration. Chuck is a member of Fraternal Order of Police and a member of the South Dakota Peace Officer's Association.
