Deputy Darin Haider

Title:  Investigator

Personal:   Born and raised in the Redfield, SD area.  Currently resides in  rural Brookings and is married with two children.  Darin enjoys sports, hunting and outdoor activities. 

Background:  Graduated from Redfield HS in 1989.  Attended Moorhead State University from 1989-1990, majored in Criminal Justice.  Attended Willmar Community College from 1990-1991, graduated with  Associate in Science degree in Law Enforcement.  Worked as a patrol officer from the Huron Police Department from 1996 - 1997.  Hired as Deputy Sheriff for Brookings County in 1997.  Assigned to Investigations in July 2007.

Special Duties: Radar Instructor.  Darin is a member of Fraternal Order of Police.
